Please read our refund and return policy carefully to understand the terms and conditions for refunds and returns. This policy is designed to provide clarity and ensure a positive shopping experience for you.

We offer a transparent and customer-friendly return/refund timeline. Refunds and returns are accepted within 30 days from the date of purchase. We believe this time frame strikes a balance between allowing you sufficient time to evaluate your purchase while also ensuring a fair policy for our business.

Refunds and Returns

Our Refunds and Returns Policy is governed by our Terms & Conditions. By using our Services, you are agreeing to our Terms & Conditions. This page covers both refunds and returns, our obligations to you, the Customer, and access to refunds and returns as pertains to purchasing products at our store. This section covers refunds and returns for Classic Clips Specialty Products only, which are as follows:
 
  1. DVD Movies, Collections and TV Series, etc.
  2. Audio CDs
  3. Audio Cassettes
  4. Audio 8 Track Cassettes
  5. Vinyl Records
  6. VHS Movies, Collections and TV Series, etc.

Exchanges are not presently offered at Classic Clips Store.

Obvious damaged products at time of delivery

Obvious damaged products fall under the following categories:

  1. Water and other substance damage or contamination to package
  2. Torn and open packages 
  3. Bent, crumpled or dented packages

If you receive your product(s) at your Postal outlet or any other address specified with your order and it is damaged, you need to contact your local Postal Service immediately to have the product(s) shipped back to the appropriate sender, the address from where it was shipped from. Ask your local Postal service for proper labelling to attach to the damaged product which will include the obvious damage identified and, if needed, placing the damaged package containing your product(s) in another package. Your local Postal service has an obligation to do this as well as ship the damaged product back to the sender at no charge. IMPORTANT!: Never sign or accept a damaged package containing your product, by doing so you are accepting the damaged package.

Refund and Return Policy for Factory Sealed Products

We have a no questions asked, 30 day, full money back guarantee refund policy if you are not happy with your product. This, however, applies to the following products only:

1) Factory Sealed products that were delivered and then returned Factory Sealed (undamaged by customer: see above for obvious damage occurring during Postal Delivery) to Classic Clips, including:

a) Factory Sealed Movies: Never before Viewed Movies, including VHS and DVDs.
b) Factory Sealed Audio Products : Unopened and Never before listened to Vinyl 45 records and Vinyl record Album; 8 track tape cassettes, CDs and audio cassettes.

Refund and Return Policy for non Factory Sealed Products

We have a no questions asked, 30 day, full money back guarantee refund policy if you are not happy with your product. This, however, applies only if the non Factory sealed product is returned undamaged, which non factory sealed products are listed below:

1) Non Factory Sealed Movies: Previously Viewed Movies, including VHS and DVDs.
2) Non Factory Sealed Audio Products : Vinyl 45 records and Vinyl record Album; 8 track tape cassettes, CDs and audio cassettes.

The product(s), if and when returned to Classic Clips (undamaged by customer: see above for obvious damage occurring during Postal Delivery), or replaced or replicated with or by a similar product not shipped by classicclips.store, will receive a refund amount, if any, determined only after all of the above conditions have been satisfactorily considered.

Return shipment costs if returning and requesting a refund

If your product is delivered to you damaged (see Obvious Damaged Products above), then you are entitled to a full refund.

There is a declared value on all our specialty products we deliver so the cost of damage will be recovered; however, you need to alert your local Post Office immediately of this damage and then return the product in its original package to Classic Clips. Simply have your Postal outlet write the following on the damaged package containing your product: “Damaged Return to Sender.” and have them time stamp the package with their logo, date and time and a signature, if possible. Repackaging your damaged product, if necessary, is the only cost you will incur.

Once the damaged product has been returned to us you will receive a full refund immediately via International E-Transfer. See link here for more information. This is the most efficient, secure and quickest way to get your refund – whether you reside in Canada or in the United States!

If, however, you are returning your product because you are not happy with it, and are simply requesting a refund, then you must incur all costs of shipping the product back to us. The product in this case will be depreciated and a partial refund will be sent to you once we receive it; again, via International E-Transfer. This is a fair business transaction, considering it is a non Factory Sealed Product. 

If, however, you are returning your product due to a malfunction or defect with your product (disruptive audio or video quality, for example), and, after we receive and evaluate the malfunction or defect and indeed find it to be so, you will receive a refund, the price you paid at checkout for the product.

Disclaimer

We can only assume and hold in faith that the information you supply at checkout: i.e.: credit card, shipping information, etc., is accurate and the actual person whom is using said credit card and supplying information at checkout to purchase products. Classic Clips Store will not be held responsible for credit card and information supplied at checkout and the purchasing of products by parties not legally authorized to do so by the actual credit card holder and the checkout information supplied. Classic Clips Store will therefore, under such conditions, not reimburse any second or third parties who have used said credit card and checkout information to purchase products from this site, nor, in such a case, reimburse the actual credit card holder for purchases on this site who was not aware of such transactions on this site.
